I recommend Every Last Secret to fans of character focused thrillers and fans of The Ghostwriter by Alessandra Torre. Her thrillers and romance novels are both great and very well written. Torre writes romance novels as Alessandra Torre. I was very invested in Cat and Neena’s stories from the beginning and couldn’t put this book down. There is so much suspense in Every Last Secret. Since this is a thriller and not a romance, I wasn’t upset about cheating. I am usually not a fan of love triangle and cheating books, but I really enjoyed Every Last Secret. The story is told alternating between Cat and Neena’s perspectives. The reader knows a little about what to expect but there are still so many unanswered questions.
I enjoy when thrillers are in this format. The story then goes back four months to when Neena and Cat first meet to explain what started it all and go through what happened. What will Neena do to steal Will? What will Cat do to keep William?Įvery Last Secret starts with a police investigation with a detective asking Neena questions.
Neena will do anything for a better life and Cat will do anything to keep her life. Both women came from nothing and married for a better life. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Matthew. Neena wants more money, a more charming life and higher class. Neena is a life coach that starts working for William’s company and moves next door to the Winthorpe’s.
